Privacy
VibeDrop has no accounts and no database. Here's what that means, in plain words.
What's inside a card link
A card lives entirely inside its link: the status, emoji, theme, the song link, the social handle and, if you added a Vibe Check, the five questions with your answers.
None of this is stored on our servers. We never receive it, so we can't see it or look it up.
Anyone with the link can read it
Anyone who has the link can see everything in the card, handle and Vibe Check answers included. Share it like you'd share a photo: only with people you're happy to have see it. Once a link is out there, it can't be taken back.
Analytics
We count visits with Umami Cloud, which doesn't use cookies. It records page paths (like /v, never anything after the ?) and a few events: card created (whether it has a quiz or a song, the handle type, the language and the theme), link copied, story image saved, quiz started and finished, result copied or shared, "Make your own" clicked, and language changed.
Never card content: no status, emoji, handle, song, quiz answers or card links. If Do Not Track is on in your browser, you aren't counted.
Songs
If a card has a Spotify or Apple Music song, the player loads from those services, so they can see that your browser loaded it. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Handles
A handle is typed in by whoever makes the card, and we don't check it. It can be the account of whoever made the card, or a shout-out to someone else.
VibeDrop isn't affiliated with Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Spotify or Apple.
Want a card gone?
If you report a card, or a handle used without your agreement, we can stop that card or handle from showing in VibeDrop. Write to us and we'll add it to our block list.
We can't delete links people have already shared elsewhere, so please also delete those posts and messages.
